1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of gotearitup.com and any services provided by Tear It Up Marketing. By using this website, submitting an enquiry, requesting an audit, purchasing a service, or otherwise engaging with Tear It Up Marketing, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use this website or our services.
2. Services
Tear It Up Marketing provides marketing and related business services, which may include:
local SEO
Google Business Profile optimisation
landing page design and development
lead generation strategy
paid advertising support
audit and consulting services
website and visibility improvement services
other related digital marketing services
The exact scope of work for any paid service will be agreed separately in writing, whether by email, proposal, invoice, call summary, or other written agreement.
3. Website use
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
use this site in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation
attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, server, or connected systems
misuse the website by knowingly introducing malicious code or harmful material
copy, reproduce, or republish website content for commercial use without permission
4. Enquiries, audits, and free offers
Any free audit, review, consultation, or other free offer provided through the website is offered at Tear It Up Marketing’s discretion.
Free offers are intended to provide general guidance and insight based on the information you provide. They do not guarantee any specific business result, ranking, traffic increase, or revenue outcome.
We may decline, withdraw, or limit any free offer at any time.
5. Quotes, proposals, and paid work
Any quote or proposal provided by Tear It Up Marketing is not binding until accepted and confirmed.
Once a paid service is agreed, the agreed scope, deliverables, fees, and timeline will apply only to the work specifically set out in that agreement. Any additional work or revisions outside scope may require a separate fee.
Unless otherwise agreed, timelines are estimates only and may vary depending on the complexity of the work, responsiveness, third-party dependencies, approvals, platform delays, or changes requested by the client.
6. Client responsibilities
You agree to:
provide accurate and complete information
provide requested content, assets, access, feedback, and approvals in a timely manner
ensure that any materials you supply, including logos, images, copy, brand assets, and account access, are owned by you or properly licensed for use
review deliverables and communications promptly
use our services and deliverables in accordance with applicable laws and platform rules
Tear It Up Marketing is not responsible for delays or performance issues caused by incomplete information, delayed feedback, lack of access, third-party platform restrictions, or inaccurate materials supplied by the client.
7. Fees and payment
Fees for paid services will be set out in a quote, proposal, invoice, or other written agreement.
Unless otherwise agreed:
payment terms will be stated before work begins
work may require upfront payment, staged payment, or deposit
late payment may delay delivery
ongoing services may be suspended or ended if payment is not made on time
Where recurring services are offered, the billing period, cancellation terms, and any minimum term will be stated in the relevant agreement. UK guidance says businesses selling online or at a distance should make clear the billing period, minimum contract length where applicable, and conditions for ending the contract.
8. Cancellations and refunds
Because Tear It Up Marketing provides services rather than physical goods, cancellation and refund arrangements will depend on the service purchased and the stage of work reached.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
fees for completed work are non-refundable
deposits or upfront payments may be non-refundable once work has been scheduled, research has begun, or delivery has started
if a recurring service is cancelled, access to ongoing work and support may end at the end of the paid period unless otherwise agreed
If you are purchasing as a consumer rather than as a business, additional cancellation rights may apply depending on the nature of the service and when performance begins. UK guidance on distance selling explains that businesses must tell customers how they can cancel and when cancellation rights may be lost.
9. No guarantees
Marketing results depend on many factors outside our control, including competition, market conditions, ad budgets, offer strength, existing brand trust, website quality, sales process, third-party platforms, algorithm changes, and client response times.
For that reason, Tear It Up Marketing does not guarantee:
specific rankings
specific traffic levels
specific lead volume
specific revenue results
acceptance or approval by third-party platforms
uninterrupted availability of third-party tools or services
Any examples, case studies, or projections shown on the website or in communications are illustrative and not promises of future performance.
10. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
Tear It Up Marketing retains ownership of its methods, know-how, frameworks, processes, templates, proposals, and pre-existing materials
once paid for in full, final client-specific deliverables created for you may be used by you for your business purposes
draft work, unused concepts, internal strategy materials, and working files remain the property of Tear It Up Marketing unless expressly transferred
You remain responsible for making sure any materials you provide to us do not infringe the rights of others.
11. Portfolio and marketing use
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, Tear It Up Marketing may reference completed work, results, deliverables, or non-confidential project details in its portfolio, case studies, sales materials, or marketing content.
If confidentiality is important for a project, this should be agreed in writing before work begins.
12. Third-party platforms and tools
Our services may involve third-party platforms and tools such as Google, Meta, website hosts, analytics tools, form providers, CRM systems, email platforms, or other software.
We are not responsible for:
third-party outages
account suspensions or restrictions imposed by those platforms
changes to platform rules, pricing, interfaces, or algorithms
losses caused by third-party systems outside our control
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tear It Up Marketing will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses, including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, data, or anticipated savings.
Our total liability in relation to any claim arising out of or connected with our services or this website will be limited to the amount paid by you to Tear It Up Marketing for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tear It Up Marketing against claims, losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising from:
materials you provide to us
your misuse of our services or website
your breach of these terms
your infringement of any third-party rights
15. Privacy and data protection

If you submit personal information through this website, it will be handled in line with our Privacy Policy. ICO guidance says privacy information should explain why personal data is used, how long it is kept, who it is shared with, and the rights available to individuals.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
By continuing to use the website or our services after changes are published, you accept the revised terms.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising in connection with these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
